High School

High School at Resurrection Christian School

As your teen prepares for adulthood, we’re here to help them build the faith, knowledge, and skills they’ll carry for a lifetime.

The high school years have a way of arriving faster than most parents expect.

One moment, you’re helping your child navigate elementary school. Next, you’re having conversations about college, careers, relationships, independence, and the kind of person they’ll become.

As time passes, the questions only grow more important:

Will my teen be prepared for life after high school?
Will they stay grounded in their faith?
Will they have trusted mentors helping them navigate the challenges and opportunities ahead?

At Resurrection Christian School, we see every student as a unique creation of God with gifts, talents, and a purpose worth discovering. Our role is to come alongside them during these formative years, helping them develop a strong foundation of faith while preparing thoughtfully for college, careers, trades, ministry, and whatever future God may have in store.

We invite you to explore the pathways and experiences that help RCS students graduate with a strong sense of direction.

Educational Philosophy

At RCS, we do not expect every student’s journey to look the same.

Instead, we walk in partnership with students and families, providing guidance and opportunities that help each student develop a strong foundation for the future.

Boldly Christian

Faith that influences every part of life.

Biblical truth is woven throughout the student experience, helping teens connect their faith to everyday decisions. Weekly chapel, discipleship opportunities, retreats, mission experiences, and authentic relationships with Christian mentors encourage students to develop a faith that becomes their own.

Academically Equipped

Learning that prepares students to pursue their calling.

Students are encouraged to pursue excellence through a rigorous college-preparatory experience while exploring the opportunities that best align with their strengths and future goals. Academic growth is supported through individualized advising, intentional course planning, and pathways that help students thoughtfully prepare for college.

Globally Prepared

Discovering how God can use their gifts to impact the world.

Preparation for the future extends beyond academics. Students are challenged to develop leadership skills and apply their learning in meaningful ways. Experiences such as internships, service opportunities, mission trips, and involvement in the broader community allow students to gain a deeper understanding of their gifts and ability to make a positive impact.

Program Distinctives

High school is often when teens begin making decisions that shape the direction of their future.

They start exploring their strengths and what they hope to do after graduation. At the same time, they’re looking for places where they can belong and people they can trust. At RCS, we’ve intentionally designed the high school experience to help students navigate this important season.

Academic Pathways

No two students are exactly alike, and we don’t believe their futures should be either. We help students explore possibilities, identify their strengths, and prepare for the path that best fits their gifts and goals.

Community & Safety

A Place To Belong

For many students, some of the most meaningful lessons of high school are learned through relationships. At RCS, students become part of a community that celebrates together, worships together, serves together, and grows together. Weekly chapel gatherings provide opportunities to pause and focus on what matters most. The annual retreats gives students time to create memories that often become some of their favorite parts of high school. Seniors have opportunities to serve that expand their perspective and challenge them to live out their faith in meaningful ways.

Safety Built on Faith, Relationships, and Responsibility

Here, students are surrounded by people who see their work as a ministry. They invest in students’ lives and help teens navigate the opportunities and challenges of high school through biblical truth. As students learn to treat one another with respect, integrity, and compassion, they contribute to a community where healthy relationships can flourish.

This Christ-centered culture is reinforced by thoughtful campus safety procedures and security measures that help provide peace of mind for families. Together, strong relationships and a shared commitment to Christian character create an environment at RCS where students can focus on learning and preparing for the future.
