Every student follows a personalized academic plan based on their goals, learning needs, and schedule. Some students focus on one course at a time, while others work through several classes concurrently, and schedules can be adjusted throughout the year as circumstances change.

RCS Online is designed to help students make steady progress without burnout. While students have flexibility to move faster, catch up, or spend additional time mastering concepts, they continue working toward completion within the structure of a typical 10-month school year and benefit from clear deadlines, teacher supervision, and ongoing accountability.

Academics & Curriculum
RCS Online provides a state- and nationally accredited academic program designed to prepare students for college, career, and life. Courses are academically rigorous, NCAA-approved, and built to strengthen critical thinking, communication, writing, research, and biblical worldview formation across core subjects, electives, Bible courses, and advanced coursework.
Students learn through a combination of proven online curriculum and teacher-developed coursework:
8:00 a.m. | Log in and begin coursework through the Ignitia learning platform.
8:00-9:00 a.m. | Complete an English lesson and assignment.
9:00-10:00 a.m. | Work on math concepts, practice problems, or a quiz.
10:00-10:30 a.m. | Take a break, attend practice, run errands with family, or participate in other activities.
10:30-11:30 a.m. | Complete science coursework, which may include videos, animations, projects, or assessments.
11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. | Lunch and free time.
12:30-1:30 p.m. | Work on Bible, history, or another scheduled course.
Afternoon | Finish remaining assignments, participate in extracurricular activities, travel, train for athletics, or spend time with family.
Throughout the Day | Stay connected with certified Christian teachers who monitor progress, provide feedback, and help keep students on track.
*This sample schedule reflects a student taking multiple courses concurrently. Students typically spend approximately 45-60 minutes per subject each day, depending on the course and their pace. Some students choose to focus on one course at a time instead, dedicating a larger portion of their day to a single subject before moving on to the next course.
Our extended offerings allow students to combine the flexibility of RCS Online with opportunities to participate in select on-campus experiences at Resurrection Christian School. This approach gives families greater flexibility while helping students stay connected to the broader RCS community.
