RCS Online Admissions

RCS Online Admissions Guide

As an extension of Resurrection Christian School, RCS Online combines flexible, Christ-centered learning with a structured path to graduation.

This guide walks you through exactly how to apply, what to expect at each step, and how to know whether RCS Online is the right fit for your family.

For tuition amounts and payment plans, see the RCS Online Tuition guide. For the handbook, academic policies, and day-to-day student life, see the RCS Online Parents & Students guide.

Is RCS Online Right for Your Family?

Families choose RCS Online for many reasons, all rooted in the same goal: an excellent, accredited Christian education that adapts to their circumstances rather than the other way around.

  • Military families and families relocating for work who need academic continuity across moves
  • Missionary families serving away from a traditional campus
  • Student-athletes, performers, and travelers who need a flexible daily schedule
  • Students recovering credits or catching up after an interruption
  • Students who thrive with a personalized pace and more independence
  • Hybrid homeschool families who want structured, accredited courses alongside home instruction
  • Families who want a Christian education but for whom on-campus tuition isn’t a fit

How to Apply

Learn at a Personalized Pace Within a Structured School Year

1

Explore RCS Online

Review the program, curriculum, and support available so you can determine whether RCS Online is the right fit for your child and family. Download and read the Online Handbook — all RCS Online families are expected to review it before enrolling.

2

Choose the Learning Path That Fits Your Child

RCS Online offers more than one way to enroll:

  • Full-Time Online: A complete course load (4.5+ courses) taken entirely online, following a personalized pace within the structure of a 10-month school year.
  • Part-Time / Individual Courses: Students register for .5 to 4 courses — a good option for credit recovery, a single elective, or supplementing another school setting.
  • Extended Offerings: Combines online coursework with select on-campus classes, programs, and activities at Resurrection Christian School. Available to full-time, 6th–12th grade, physical campus enrolled students who want to add online courses without giving up campus access.

3

Complete the Online Application

Submit your application through the RCS admissions portal and provide any required academic records or supporting documentation. A $75 application fee applies. Families can track their admissions progress and application status online at any time.

Required documents include:

  • Most recent report card
  • Unofficial transcripts (required for 9th–12th grade applications)
  • Standardized testing results

4

Application Review & Enrollment

Our admissions team will review your application, answer any remaining questions, and help you finalize enrollment details so your child can begin their RCS Online journey. New and returning students each pay an annual enrollment or re-enrollment fee as part of registration — see the RCS Online Tuition guide for current amounts.

Good to Know Before You Apply

Transferring In During Senior Year

Students transferring to RCS Online during their senior year require formal approval from school administration before enrolling. Students who transfer during their senior year — or after Christmas of their junior year — are still required to complete the Missions Trip and the Internship.

Annual Re-Registration

RCS Online students complete the registration process every year. After the first year, re-enrollment is a much shorter process, but registering annually is required in order for the next semester’s classes to be released.

Graduation & Diploma

Online students graduate with a full Resurrection Christian School diploma and are invited to walk with their graduating class in person at the on-campus graduation ceremony. Students who wish to walk must complete all coursework by two weeks prior to graduation.
