Ask an RCS student what they love most about their school, and you’ll rarely hear about a textbook.
You’ll hear about chapel. Cougar game days. Opening night of the musical. The friends they’ve grown up with since kindergarten. School life at Resurrection Christian is where our mission comes alive — where students become Boldly Christian, Academically Equipped, and Globally Prepared not just in the classroom, but in everything they do.

A Community That Grows Up Together
As a preschool through 12th grade school, RCS gives families something rare: many years of continuity. With an 8:1 student-to-faculty ratio, teachers know students by name — and not just in passing. Older students mentor younger ones. Siblings cheer each other on across grade levels. By the time a Cougar walks across the graduation stage, they’ve been shaped by a community that has known them, challenged them, and prayed for them — through the awkward years and the award-winning ones, through first days and hard days, through wins on the field and moments of doubt in their faith. That kind of belonging isn’t an accident. It’s built one relationship at a time.
Every part of school life at RCS — chapel, athletics, the arts, clubs, traditions — exists to strengthen that belonging while pointing students back to Christ.
Spiritual Life
BOLDLY CHRISTIAN
Faith isn’t a class period at RCS — it’s the foundation of everything we do. Students grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ through worship, mentorship, service, and daily life in a Christ-centered community.

Chapel
Students gather weekly for praise and worship, biblical teaching, and messages from RCS staff and guest speakers — with chapel held at every grade level each week. A few times a year, the whole school comes together for all-school worship.
Spiritual Emphasis Week
Each spring, the entire school sets aside a week to focus on spiritual growth through extended worship, guest speakers, and intentional time in God’s Word.
Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA)
A student- and coach-led ministry where student athletes meet weekly in FCA huddles for evangelism, discipleship, outreach, and fellowship.
Mission Trips & Serve Days
RCS students put faith into action through four annual international mission trips, a South Dakota mission trip, and a trip to YMCA of the Rockies in Estes Park — plus local serve days throughout the year. It’s how students learn that being Globally Prepared starts with a heart for serving others, close to home and around the world.
Cougar Athletics
At RCS, we compete with character. Cougar athletics teach discipline, teamwork, and perseverance — and give the whole school community a reason to fill the stands on Friday nights.

Athletic opportunities begin in middle school and grow through varsity competition in high school, giving students a great opportunity to compete, grow, and represent RCS with character. In fact, 87% of middle and high school students take part in athletics each year — a reflection of how central sports are to the RCS experience.
But at RCS, we measure success by more than the scoreboard. In a culture where competitive sports can easily turn unhealthy, our coaching staff is committed to developing athletes who compete with integrity — building unity with teammates, respect for opponents and officials, and character that honors Christ in victory and in defeat.
Check out our Athletics page for a full list of middle and high school sports.

Fine Arts
From the first grade choir riser to the spotlight of a mainstage musical, the arts at RCS give every student a way to discover and develop their God-given creativity.
RCS fine arts include theatre, band, choir, and visual arts from elementary through high school. Our award-winning theatre program has brought productions like Newsies and Annie to the stage, with a middle school production each fall and opportunities for students of all experience levels. Middle school students take art, and all 6th and 7th graders participate in band or choir. High School offers a wide variety of band and choir, in addition to the theater program.

Elementary
Classroom communities, specialty classes like art and music, and traditions that make school a place kids love.
Middle School
The middle school years bring real change, and RCS meets students right where they are. Through mentorship, a biblical worldview woven into every subject, and space to ask hard questions about faith and identity, students are given a steady foundation for one of the most formative stages of growing up. As athletics, electives, and new responsibilities expand, students aren’t just kept busy — they’re known, guided, and given the confidence to navigate this season well.
High School
Varsity competition, leadership, mission trips, and a launchpad for college and calling.
