Academic Overview

Academics at RCS

Explore how your child can thrive in a PreK-12 school that integrates Christ-centered learning, academic excellence, and meaningful teacher mentorship at every stage of their journey.

One day, your child will leave your home and step into the world on their own.

And as a parent, few questions matter more than this:
Will they have a clear sense of who they are and to Whom they belong?

You want your child to be challenged academically. You want them to develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence they’ll need for college, career, and life. But you also want something deeper. You want them to build meaningful relationships and learn how to navigate the world through a biblical lens.

That’s why, to you, choosing a school means finding a place where your child is not only taught academically, but also nurtured in wisdom and planted deeply in their God-given identity.

At Resurrection Christian School, we partner with families to provide a Christ-centered education that develops students academically, spiritually, socially, and emotionally from Preschool through High School. We invite you to discover how we help students become boldly Christian, academically equipped, and globally prepared as they prepare for whatever God calls them to next.

Educational Philosophy

Students spend thousands of hours in school over the course of their lives.

At RCS, we believe education should do more than transfer knowledge. It should cultivate their wisdom, deepen their faith, and prepare students for whatever path lies ahead. Here are four ways we bring that philosophy to life every day.

Biblical truth is integrated throughout every subject area and learning experience, helping students understand how faith shapes the way they view the world. From the earliest grades up until graduation, students are encouraged to see God’s hand in every discipline and grow in both knowledge and faith.

RCS students are prepared for a variety of future pathways through rigorous academics, Advanced Placement courses, dual credit opportunities, leadership development, and career-focused programs. Whether a student’s next step includes college, the trades, military service, ministry, or the workforce, we help them develop the knowledge, skills, and character needed to pursue their God-given calling.

At RCS, students are known personally by teachers who intentionally invest in their academic, spiritual, and personal growth. Through meaningful relationships, students gain mentors who help them navigate important questions about life and purpose.

As a unified PreK–12 school, RCS provides a consistent and supportive environment where students can grow through every age and stage. Cross-grade leadership opportunities and a strong partnership with families create a community where students are known and encouraged.

Academic Highlights

At RCS, our approach to education is rooted in Luke 2:52, which tells us that Jesus “grew in wisdom and stature, and in favor with God and man.”

We believe students should experience that same kind of holistic growth as they prepare for the future. This philosophy drives everything we do. Here, students are challenged through rigorous academics and supported as they develop the social-emotional skills needed to navigate life with resilience.

It’s also one of the reasons more than 130 RCS students are the children of faculty and staff members, a powerful reflection of the trust our educators place in our school’s culture and quality of academic programs.
