Patty Hoppe

Welcome to the RCS Elementary Cougar family! As Elementary Principal, I can truly say that I love what I do, where I do it, and who I do it with. Over the past 30 years I’ve worked in the field of education in three different states, teaching grades 1-5, then as an Academic Coach, Assistant Principal, and Principal, and have experienced RCS to be an exceptional school in every conceivable way. I have a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education from Illinois State University, with a minor in reading instruction, and a Master of Arts Degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies from the University of Northern Colorado.

My husband Bruce and I have been married since 1990, and Bruce is one of the pastors at Christ Community Church in Greeley. Our son Adam and is wife Sara live in Johnstown, and our daughter Emma is a student at Colorado Mountain College in Glenwood Springs. If you really want to get me fired-up, talk to me about the Chicago Blackhawks or the Chicago Cubs!
My deepest desire is to partner closely with our elementary team in helping each child to get the highest quality of education possible while leading them to embrace a biblical worldview. I am also passionate about nurturing every child’s spiritual life so they will be motivated to pursue a deep, personal relationship with the Lord. I’m blessed to serve in partnership with a marvelously gifted teaching staff. I take seriously my leadership role in equipping them in research-based, quality instruction, while fanning into flame the unique educator that God has created each of them to be.

As RCS continues to grow, my prayer is that we will continue to cherish the highly-relational, family-oriented environment that has been our strength for so many years. I long for every RCS family to know that they matter, they are an integral part of our school community, and that together we can make an eternal, loving impact in the life of their child.
