Brooke Vander Wal
Hello and welcome to RCS! I am excited to be starting my first full school year at RCS as the Director of Development, having started last February.
I am proud to be a Northern Colorado Native. My husband Dave works in the Dairy Equipment business, and together we are raising our four children- an RCS 7th grader, 6th grader, 4th grader and preschooler- on the same property and in the same house where I grew up.
I graduated from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) with a BA in Social Sciences and have worked in the Northern Colorado nonprofit sector since 2002 in various roles at United Way of Larimer County, McKee Medical Center Foundation, and Immanuel Lutheran School prior to my current role at RCS.
I am inspired by passionate, generous, committed people who serve others through their gifts of time, talent and treasure. RCS is FULL of inspiring stories, transformative gifts, and passionate volunteers. I love partnering with others to raise up kids who are Boldly Christian, Academically Equipped and Globally Prepared and will change the world in Jesus’ name!
I have a deep desire and a calling to help people align their passions with opportunities to be generous and am incredibly blessed to be doing what I love with the RCS family!
