Class of 2024

Our Mission

Resurrection Christian School’s mission is to train students who are boldly Christian, academically equipped, and globally prepared. One way we train bold Christians who are globally prepared is a required mission trip for students to take after their junior year in high school. During this time, students will spend approximately 40 hours in a culture outside of their own developing spiritually and serving together.

The purpose of missions at RCS is to disciple students in a love for God and a love for others. Before, during, and after each trip students learn about God, cross-cultural communication/relation-building, local and global poverty, and compassionate service. Our goals are for each student to draw closer to Jesus Christ, gain compassion for all people, and find practical ways to serve locally and globally.

Friends and parents wishing to donate to a student's trip may do so by sending a check to RCS High School.

Class of 2024 Upcoming Trips

Summer 2023 | July 15-21

Kansas City, Missouri

Working with Partnership International and Reach KC to meet the local needs of this urban church. The trip will include work projects, visiting local homeless encampments, and church ministry.

Fall Break 2023 | October 21-27

Jamaica

Working in Jamaica with Partnership International. Students will work together in evangelism and community service at public schools in Jamaica and in building, painting, groundskeeping, and other maintenance at public schools.

March 24-30, 2024

Guatemala

Working in San Raymundo, Guatemala with Casas por Cristo. Teams will build and furnish a home for a family by working alongside the family, local people, and the Casas por Cristo staff. The trip will focus on construction and community service.
