Faith, Freedom, and the Future – Celebrating Independence with Purpose

As we gather with friends and family to celebrate the Fourth of July, we’re reminded of the incredible freedoms we enjoy as Americans—freedoms that allow us to worship, learn, and live with purpose.

At Resurrection Christian School, we don’t take those freedoms for granted. Our mission is rooted in a commitment to raising up the next generation of Christian leaders—young men and women who understand the value of liberty, the responsibility of citizenship, and the call to be a light in the world.

This Independence Day, consider these simple ways your family can reflect on faith and freedom together:

  • Read the Declaration of Independence or a Scripture about freedom (like Galatians 5:1: “It is for freedom that Christ has set us free…”), and talk about what it means to live free in Christ.

  • Pray for our country. Take time as a family to pray for our leaders, military, and for a generation to rise up with truth and courage.

  • Serve others. Use the holiday as an opportunity to share God’s love—volunteer at a community event, write cards to veterans, or bless a neighbor.

Freedom is not just a national blessing—it’s a spiritual truth. And at RCS, we’re passionate about helping students walk in both.

As we enjoy fireworks and festivities, we’re also preparing for an exciting 2025–26 school year. If you’ve been thinking about enrolling your child at RCS, now is the time. Summer is a great season to visit our campus, ask questions, and complete the application process without the fall rush.

Several grades are nearing capacity, and spots will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

Celebrate this Fourth of July by taking a step toward a Christ-centered education that equips students for freedom, responsibility, and Kingdom impact.

Happy Independence Day from all of us at RCS!
