An observation of sportsmanship

I wanted to email and communicate my reflections on the 8th grade girls basketball game at Kinard this afternoon. I was so impressed by the character and sportsmanship that the Resurrection Christian girls and coach displayed during the competition. I counted at least three instances where a RCS athlete paused intentionally to assist and/or check-in on the health of a Kinard athlete after falling to the floor. This was especially impressive during a close and competitive game that came down to the wire. It was a great atmosphere!

Please be sure to pass on our gratitude and thanks to your coach and players for the spirited competition with a precedence on character and class.
