Avenue North earned the highest rating possible (superior) Friday, at the acapella/jazz CHSAA competition in Colorado Springs. They competed against all similar groups in the state, and did very well. RCS had 2 special awards- Skyler Whatley won the outstanding vocal percussion award, and Ben Jackson won outstanding soloist! The High School Band performed today at Rocky Mountain Christian Academy and scored a Superior rating from all three judges.
Congratulations to the team of 7th grade science students, Arabella Crites, Micah Cunningham, Erin Homan and Kate Woodward. These 7th graders won the eCybermission State Championship for their science fair project to help area homeless individuals by designing a lightweight, insulated shelter.
Congratulations to Middle School Bible Teacher Tammy Boehler. Mrs. Boehler received the WayFM Golden Apple Award. She was nominated by 7th grader Addison Vick.
